Provecta HIT

Product properties:

Provecta® HIT is a ready-to-use spray for crawling insects, providing immediate effect and safe action without the use of conventional biocidal substances. Thanks to the unique ALL IN WEB™ technology, the product forms a delicate, three-dimensional spider-web-like structure on the insect’s body, physically immobilising it quickly and effectively.

The product:

  • is ready to use – a convenient spray with no need for dilution,
  • is odourless and colourless – does not stain fabrics or leave marks on floors and furniture,
  • is safe for humans and pets when used according to the instructions,
  • is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

After spraying the insect, a three-dimensional ALL IN WEB™ structure forms on its surface, instantly immobilising it, blocking movement and feeding. The product acts only upon direct contact and for a short time — until it evaporates. Once dry, the treated surfaces can be used again as intended.

No registration required:

The product does not contain biocidal active substances and works through a physical mechanism. Due to its mode of action, it does not require registration.

Unique product features:

  • Physical (not chemical) mode of action – no risk of resistance development of insect populations.
  • Immediate effect – insects are immobilised directly after application.
  • No active substances – suitable for use in areas where traditional hazardous products are restricted or limited (homes, kitchens, children’s rooms).
  • No residual effect – leaves no deposit on surfaces after evaporation.
  • Broad spectrum of action against crawling insects commonly found near humans (including bed bugs, cockroaches, spiders, stored-product insects, fleas, silverfish, ants).

Composition:

Ingredient responsible for the product’s action:

polyalkylene oxide–modified heptamethyltrisiloxane.

Market analysis

Crawling insects (including cockroaches, bed bugs, fleas, ants, and silverfish) are becoming an increasing challenge in both private homes and public facilities. Growing resistance of pests to conventional biocidal products, along with restrictions on using them in kitchens, homes, and areas occupied by children, is driving market demand toward solutions with a physical mode of action.

Products such as Provecta® HIT, which work physically and contain no biocidal substances, meet growing customer expectations in terms of safety, effectiveness, and suitability for use in sensitive areas (homes, kitchens, food preparation areas, children’s rooms).
